EXtrance adds Chief Sales Officer Lincoln Belitz

MINNEAPOLIS (May 30, 2023) – EXtrance, a Minneapolis-based investment management platform for commercial real estate, is moving into its commercialization phase by adding a chief sales officer to the company’s leadership team.

Lincoln Belitz joins EXtrance this month from GeoKey, a cloud-based access and security management platform for multifamily and commercial properties, where he was director of business development. He has spent nearly ten years in technology sales, with a strong track record of simplifying technology for prospects to improve the buying cycle.

“As EXtrance has moved from vision to reality, we’re ready to work directly with general partners in commercial real estate to offer a cutting edge, simple, efficient way to manage and evaluate a fund, its partners, and its performance,” said CEO William Lively, who conceived of the idea for EXtrance while a partner at DCI Capital, a one of the first blockchain investment firms in the U.S. He continued to see opportunity while developing start-up SyndEX Labs, which leveraged artificial intelligence, machine learning, and blockchain in a platform designed to improve the efficiency of investing for family offices. After additional investments from key partners, William left to pursue the development of EXtrance, recognizing the limited transparency and inefficiencies in commercial real estate investment options.

“I’m excited to be part of EXtrance at this stage of growth. This platform will really revolutionize the way CRE investors manage their funds, making it more effective and efficient,” said Belitz.

EXtrance’s investment management platform offers key features not available from any other technology platform, including:

  • Private solicitation ecosystem and marketplace for limited partnership investors, which widens the net of possible buyers, lowers potential discounts for early exit, and shortens the time from exit request to sale.
  • Customized investor dashboard, with user friendly customization, role-level security and blockchain, AI, and machine learning to manage and secure investment data. Through its machine learning system and artificial intelligence program, EXtrance takes raw source information from an operating partner and delivers key performance indicators without the need for analysts to dig through numbers and potentially make errors. General partners or fund managers within the organization can upload the documents to the portal. Within minutes, they get real, actionable insights, and key performance indicators to make better-informed decisions.
  • Full-service investor management, which allows automated distributions, infallible record keeping, strong legal contract enforcement, unique and personalized communication tools, and automated tax generation.
