Meet Our Leadership:
William is a distinguished figure in the realm of technology and commercial real estate, with an illustrious career commencing at DCI Capital, the pioneering investment firm in the United States focused exclusively on blockchain. At DCI Capital, he ascended to the position of Partner, initially leading investor relations and subsequently spearheading ventures in emerging markets. In 2018, William embarked on a new venture, SyndEX labs, an innovative, Blockchain-based investment ecosystem designed to broaden the horizons of alternative capital sources and major institutions. Throughout this journey, he fostered groundbreaking alliances with renowned entities such as IBM and the Americas Group. Furthermore, he adroitly orchestrated a series of equity financing rounds, securing commitments exceeding $1.1 billion in assets.
Following his departure from SyndEX, William founded EXtrance in 2021, driven by his realization that prevailing investor and investment management practices and platforms in the real estate domain lacked the cutting-edge advancements in AI, ML, and blockchain technology, which he had pioneered and wholeheartedly embraced. EXtrance has unequivocally set a new benchmark within the industry, establishing itself as an exemplar of excellence in investment and investor management platforms. The company boasts an accomplished team of technologists, private equity professionals, and real estate experts, all united in their pursuit of innovation. In recognition of its remarkable achievements, EXtrance was objectively and independently acknowledged as the preeminent AI-powered real estate solution of 2023 by Acquisitions International and featured prominently among the top 10 overall real estate solutions by Proptech Outlook.
Ajitesh Das, MBA from Vanderbilt University, serves as the Chief Technology Officer at EXtrance, where he drives the company’s technology strategy and innovation. With an extensive background in financial technology, Ajitesh has held key roles such as Senior Director of Core Banking, Credit, Data, and Payments Engineering at Synapse Financial Technologies and Senior Software Development Manager for Core Payments at PayPal. He has also led engineering teams at Bitt, where he focused on Retail CBDC and blockchain solutions, and Blackline, where he managed data and machine learning initiatives. Ajitesh’s career is marked by his ability to transform legacy systems, build high-performing teams, and spearhead cutting-edge projects in blockchain, AI, and financial technology, making him a significant contributor to the advancement of the industry.
Conrad comes from a diverse background in B2B marketing roles, including senior leadership in commercial equipment finance, industry-leading engineering software and services, process automation, and a variety of contract and consulting roles. He has spent the past 18 years building and growing businesses via his extensive experience in marketing, sales, and communications. Conrad joined EXtrance in 2024 to help accelerate the company’s growth and provide the organization with a vast wealth of experience managing B2B marketing strategy, and the technical capabilities to take the team to the next level. Outside of work, he enjoys international travel, automotive, outdoors and fitness, the arts, timepieces, and a vast variety of other topics and activities.

A seasoned Chief Investment Officer, Board Member, and Advisor with a long track record of success in leading investment and advisory firms to new heights. In his current role at IJP Family Partners, he excels in advising some of the most prominent family offices in the world on commercial real estate projects, complex multinational venture capital investments, and private equity fund acquisitions, showcasing his expertise in navigating the intricate landscape of direct investments. Noteworthy achievements include forming a group of investors for distressed billion-dollar private equity buyouts, leading successful negotiations for troubled portfolio companies, and spearheading strategic acquisitions. His holistic approach to financial matters, coupled with a deep understanding of family office dynamics, sets him apart as an exceptional advisor, bringing a vast wealth of knowledge and experience in the private equity space to the EXtrance team.
After 20 years leading marketing communications for commercial real estate companies across the industry, Martha joined EXtrance’s Board of Advisors in 2022 and became its fractional Chief Marketing Officer in 2023. She builds upon her deep experience in business-to-business marketing in commercial real estate, manufacturing, start-ups, and financial services, and aligns the marketing communications strategy with EXtrance’s business goals to connect with venture capital, private equity, and the CRE industry.
Her leadership extends beyond the companies where she worked. She serves as Vice Chair of Aeon, a non-profit affordable housing developer and investor, and previously worked to improve diversity within CRE through the DUS DEI committee, a national group of commercial real estate finance experts, and the Commercial Real Estate Diversity Collaborative.
She’s been recognized as a 2020 Business Journal Women in Business, the Midwest Real Estate News Hall of Fame, was the recipient of the President’s Award at Northmarq, and served as volunteer leader of IABC locally, regionally, and nationally.
Rajiv Tandon is a serial entrepreneur and tenured professor at the Carlson School of Management. Listed by Twin Cities Business Magazine as one of the “200 Minnesotans You Should Know,” Rajiv has one of the first doctorate degrees in Entrepreneurship from the University of Minnesota and started the entrepreneurship program at the University of St. Thomas.
Christian Anstett is a top-rated business litigation lawyer in California. He was selected to Super Lawyers Rising Stars for 2013-2015. Highly accomplished and respected by his peers, Mr. Anstett is a trusted legal advisor.
Dan is an accomplished real estate professional with a strong track record in acquisitions and asset management. He has served as an advisor to EXtrance since 2022, providing insights into investment fund management and barriers to transparency.
As the Director at AVR Realty Company from 2019 to 2023, he led key multifamily portfolio initiatives in the Southeast and New York. His expertise in development management was further honed at JDS Development Group, where he contributed significantly from 2017 to 2019.
Before his strategic roles in development, Dan served as an Analyst at Fortress Investment Group, where he developed a foundation in investment analysis from 2014 to 2015. His educational background includes an MBA from The Wharton School and a BSBA in Finance, Computer Science, and Accounting from Washington University in St. Louis, where he graduated with honors and was actively involved in relevant societies.
Dan’s combination of practical experience and academic excellence has established him as a key player in the real estate sector, known for his strategic insights and effective management skills.
