Meet our leadership:

William LivelyWilliam is a distinguished figure in the realm of technology and commercial real estate, with an illustrious career commencing at DCI Capital, the pioneering investment firm in the United States focused exclusively on blockchain. At DCI Capital, he ascended to the position of Partner, initially leading investor relations and subsequently spearheading ventures in emerging markets. In 2018, William embarked on a new venture, SyndEX labs, an innovative, Blockchain-based investment ecosystem designed to broaden the horizons of alternative capital sources and major institutions. Throughout this journey, he fostered groundbreaking alliances with renowned entities such as IBM and the Americas Group. Furthermore, he adroitly orchestrated a series of equity financing rounds, securing commitments exceeding $1.1 billion in assets.

Following his departure from SyndEX, William founded EXtrance in 2021, driven by his realization that prevailing investor and investment management practices and platforms in the real estate domain lacked the cutting-edge advancements in AI, ML, and blockchain technology, which he had pioneered and wholeheartedly embraced. EXtrance has unequivocally set a new benchmark within the industry, establishing itself as an exemplar of excellence in investment and investor management platforms. The company boasts an accomplished team of technologists, private equity professionals, and real estate experts, all united in their pursuit of innovation. In recognition of its remarkable achievements, EXtrance was objectively and independently acknowledged as the preeminent AI-powered real estate solution of 2023 by Acquisitions International and featured prominently among the top 10 overall real estate solutions by Proptech Outlook.

Patrick FrankPatrick worked in the construction and development industry for six years before going to school for software engineering and business management. For a few years after that, he was privately developing software and small businesses to help solve problems in tech/automation-lacking industries before reconnecting with high school friend William Lively. Patrick started at EXtrance as Williams’s executive assistant but was quickly promoted to Chief of Staff and later to Chief Technology Officer where he continues to push the edge of state-of-the-art technology.

After studying entrepreneurship and marketing at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota in 2016, Christian pursued a career in marketing, starting with account management and copywriting. For the next few years, he continued to explore his passion for marketing and advertising, and learned a great deal about project management, teamwork, and client relationships along the way.

Having studied entrepreneurial management, and being involved in the local entrepreneurship space with things like the Minnesota Cup, Christian wanted to shift his focus toward his goal of working with a team on an innovative new venture — and EXtrance was a clear choice.
